Prince Of Persia - The Forgotten Sands - Review

I Was A Fan Of The Franchise Since 2003 Prince Of Persia The Sands Of Time. The Combination Of Acrobatics And Combat - With Scanning Environments - Made the Prince Of Persia Franchise One Of My Favorites From The Last Generation. And Despite Ubisoft Beating The Franchise Into The Ground Immediately After The Release Of Each Year Thereafter, I Still Bought It And Played - If I Recognize That The Prince Began To Feel More Than A Little Tired.

But Prince Of Persia 2008 - A Reinvention Of The Franchise That Has Won Most Of The Reader's Ability To Fail - Showed The Prince Takes More Than A Couple Of Tweaks And A Short Break To Be Exciting Again. While Some People Were Able To Enjoy The Ultra -Indulgent, You Can't Lose Pop 2.008 Aspect, I Felt Like The Game Had Brought This Aspect At The Expense Of The Sense Of Accomplishment Of The Above Mentioned Games. The Adventures Of Prince Should Be Beatable, Of Course, But The Player Does Not Need His Hand All The Way.

That's Why I Think I Liked The Last Game, Prince Of Persia: The Forgotten Sands, As Much As I Did. Although More Than A Rehash Of Previous POP Mechanics, Forgotten Sands Manages To Strike A Balance Between Reward And Punishment. Combine That With Some Awesome New Mechanics And Combat System Really Comes Into Its Own At The End Of The Game And It's Easy To Recommend Despite The Boring Story And Feel Rather Unpolished Visual Thu.

In Playing The Forgotten Sands Has A Beautiful Acrobatic Warrior With A Penchant For Climbing Almost Everything And Destroy All That Comes To Grips With. Prince Goes To Visit His Brother And The Things The Way They Appear Typical Video Game, Magic Evil Enemies And Are Rapidly Removed In An Epic Quest That Will Take You Through The Ruins Of A Kingdom In An Effort To Save The World. This Is The Kind Of Things That Previous POP Games Were All About, But I Must Say That This Story Is Nothing Compared To The Sands Of Time (POP Game That All Are Measured Against In My Mind) And Never Managed To Pull Me In History.

However, While The Story Does Not Catch My Attention, The Acrobatic Platform Franchise Is Known That Hooked Me Again. Prince Has The Uncanny Ability To Run Up Walls And Be A Monkey Around When Uploading, And The Game Gives You A Lot Of Ninja Environments, Hard Each Area Between Prince Is Essentially A Level And That You Understand What Has To Leave To Make It Through.

The First Few Hours Of The Platform And Think It's A Relatively Easy Game, But It Becomes More Difficult As The Prince Opens New Powers. During The Search Of The Prince Finally Get The Ability To Temporarily Freeze The Water Scalable Objects And Take Parts Of Ruins Appear As They Were Before Being Destroyed. The Game Gradually Ramps The Difficulty, Forcing The Player To Combine These Powers Until Finally They Find Rooms Where Each Of Them Are Used In Epic Sequences That Make The Game Feel Like A Mix Of Platform Action And Pace.

The Combination Of These Skills Is Difficult And Resulted In A Large Number Of Dead Princes. Fortunately Forgotten Sands Brings The Ability To Go Back In Time, Giving Me A Second Chance (And Sometimes Fifth Or Sixth) Success. But This Is Not The Endless Attempts Of The Last POP Game, Either, As The Player Has Time To A Limited Number Of Attempts (Which Are Filled By Finding The Blue Orbs In Vases Or Fallen Enemies). If You Run Out Of Attempts, You Return To Your Last Checkpoint (Which Are Quite Regular), Defeating Forgotten Sands The Perfect Balance Between Risk And Reward. There Is Nothing Sweeter Than Filling A Challenge Without The Use Of Attempts, Or Better Yet, Spend When You Are On Your Last Test. After All, If There's Nothing To Lose, Nothing To Risk, Where's The Fun?

The Platform And Immediately Gratifying, But The Fight Takes A While To Become A Useful Part Of The Game. The First Enemies Are Really Annoying To Fight And Fight Amounts To Little More Than Button Mashing. Later, However, When I Had A Series Of Powers And A Good Mix Of Enemies To Fight, Fight Became A Totally Different Beast.

Like Many Other Games Before It, Forgotten Sands Has An Experience System. Killing Enemies Recounts The Experience Then Transmits A Skill Tree. During The Game, The Prince Get The Powers That Temporary Invincibility, An AOE Knock-Down, Or The Possibility Of Leaving A Trail Of Fire In Its Wake. These Powers Use The Same Resource As The Ability To Go Back In Time, So The Option To Use In Battle Becomes A Matter Much More In The Final Game When He Was Fucking Much. Best Of Powers, However, Is That They Are Very Fun To Mix With Your Normal Attacks - So Much So That They Are Interesting Enough To Effectively Fight Makes Me Want To Play The Game Modes Challenge, In Which You Fight Waves Of Enemies In A Short Period Of Time.

Whereas The Combat Sequences And Acrobatic Forgotten Sands Are, In Many Respects, For Example In The Fantastic Sands Of Time, History And The Visual Effects Of The Game Are Below. The Plot Is Fairly Predictable And The Characters (Outside Government) Are Forgettable. Similarly, The Visual Effects Of The Game, Something I Have Not Really Noticed That Normally Everywhere. Sometimes The Game Looks Pretty Fantastic, With Lots Of Dynamic Lighting And A Wide Range Of Colors And Other Times, The Game Is Boring And Outdated. It's A Shame, Really, Because If The Story And The Look Of The Game Could Also Be Improved As It Was In Sands Of Time, Prince Of Persia 2010 Could Be A Game That People Remembered Fondly As Its Predecessor. But Buyer Beware: If You Are In What You Hear And Want To Pick It Up To Your Pc, Just Know That This Game Will Requires You To Be Online At All Times While You Play. Check The Requirements Before Buying DRM.
